Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1
Whether you know it or your stepkid knows it you’re one of the mosy influential people in his life. Since you’re reading a blog about encouragement for stepmoms I’m going to bet that you care deeply for your stepkid.
Are you thankful for him? Does he know that? Are you thankful for God’s goodness and gave? Does your stepkid know that? Are you being a good model of giving thanks to God.
Each night as I pray with my family I thank God for each of them and for the blessings he has given us. I try to name some specific blessings like our home or the food we are about to eat or even just the day.
How do you share your thankfulness with your family?
Thank you for all the blessings You have given me and my family. Thank you for loving us no matter what. Thank you for my family. We are not perfect but are being made perfect in You, Jesus. I’m am thankful for Your love and that I may share it with my stepchild. You are an amazing God. And I am so thankful for You.
