What I Wore Wednesday: Family Outing

What I Wore Wednesday: Family Outing

The Saturday before Father’s Day the family spent the day on a cavern tour. It was pretty amazing. The lighting in my bedroom is terrible so I apologize for this photo. I’m wearing an Old Navy striped top (similar), with GAP jeans and Aeropostale shoes (similar). I added a corduroy blazer from GAP (similar) for in the caves where it was a bit chilly.

About the caves… this was a fun family activity and luckily only a couple hour car ride away. We have lots of these in California. And it is relatively inexpensive. I like the history aspect of it; that the towns people used the caves for town meetings and to escape the weather in the Gold Rush days. The guys liked when the tour guide turned off the lights to show us how dark it is in the depths of the caves (answer=dark). We did a similar tour in Arizona a couple years back. Now the plan is to see how many caves we can visit in our own area and across the country! (Dorks, I know.)

Happy Wednesday, friends! Enjoy the rest of your week.
